We understand the importance of diagnosing and treating OCD. OCD is a common mental health disorder that often begins in childhood, between the ages of 10 and 20. However, OCD at these ages often goes undiagnosed, affecting their lives in the long-term.

The problem

Individuals with undiagnosed OCD often feel misunderstood, with many suffering in silence for many years. OCD causes immense suffering, and those affected may feel isolated and overwhelmed by their obsessions and compulsions. This is especially true for children and adolescents, for whom OCD symptoms may be particularly difficult to understand.

It is crucial to properly assess, understand, and diagnose OCD, and to seek appropriate treatment to prevent the condition from worsening and to embark on the path to recovery. With tailored, evidence-based treatment, most clients can make significant and lasting improvements.
